Dino grabbed this hat, put it in, and took off running through the aisles - laughing the entire time!

Had fun taking some spring pictures of my boys this afteroon.  Who am I kidding?  It was crazy stressful.  What 2 year old boy in an open field wants to stand still and let you take his picture?  Couple that with me and my wife both having our hands full - I was holding a camera and she holding a flash on a monopod with a softbox (more like a sail) blowing in the wind.  That said, you really only need a couple of good shots and we walked away with that and let Dino have fun roaming the field.  Here is a little sneak peak of some of the photos.   I also created a fun new Lightroom Preset for this shoot.  Made my processing time very quick because I had it apply the preset during the import.

It was an honor to serve a man today that served us by giving 30 years of service in the US Navy. Our conversation started because I was interested in his hat. He proceeded to tell me about all of his tours and casually spouted off the dates he was in each place like it was yesterday. For him, it was. He was sharp as a tack and it was a real blessing for me to share a few moments with a man that has “been around the world 3 times.” He was thankful for the generosity of Operation Blessing, Winn Dixie, Wachovia/Wells Fargo, and the Jacksonville Jaguars because it will help make his Thanksgiving meal extra special this year.  I am grateful for these moments where people are given a moment to share their unique stories with me. It may have nothing to do with the reason we were in Jacksonville today, but at the same time it has everything to do with it.
